Drug Company Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pays Millions

For Promoting Drug Topomax For Uses Not Approved By FDA

Topomax is a seizure medicine well known for it's efficacy in stopping seizures, but Janssen promoted it for other uses, not approved by the government.  As a result, doctors prescribed it and taxpayers had to pay for it, through medicare and medicaid programs.
